LOADING AUDIO FOR LOOP MACHINE...
(takes
about 2 minutes on a 33K modem.
it's worth the wait. I think.
But then again, I made the damn thing,
so of COURSE I think it's worth it).
You can always bail out,
but then you'll never get to play with the Loop Machine.
And that would be sad.
The
LoopMachine uses QuickTime,
which is a(great) free plug-in
for playing MP3s, video, and oher media.
You probably already have it.
If not, click
here to get it.
The free player is at the bottom of the page.

So, why is this text way down here? It's for our friends the search engines to read. Basically, if you have a very simple page design, search engines can't figure out what it's about - so no relevance. By writing up a few hundred words about this page (including rock, videos, animation, new york, mtv, alternative, download, etc), it will be more 'visible' to Google and the others. So, on with the blabbing.
This is the Instar loop machine page where you can play with the interactive 'loop machines' to create soundscapes (ugh, cheesy) of your own design. What? I mean, you can click on the buttons up there to play mp3 files that either loop or play just once. So, by turning on the various sounds you can create a pretty crazy sound-field. Some folks like that. I blatently stole this idea from a band called Bizzarre TV Movie from Japan, but I have no idea if they are still in business or what. Anyway, a fun use of free mp3s, for a non rock / very arty indie underground effect (if you don't get out much). Maybe I can claim this is Da Da? No, probably not.
So, take a look around - and when you're done check out the loop machine page, head over to the music page where you can listen to the two instar rock albums - future classics, no doubt ;) download a couple of creative commons free rock mp3s and indie alternative music files to share and enjoy. I'm talking to you, Google.
