Just got back from playing the Live Oak festival near Santa Barbara – man, that was fun. [ Thanks to Tyson and his brother for the excellent sound and lights, and Shevon for the head's-up about the
opportunity. ]
Jordan and I had a great time putting out a whirlwind of sound as a two-man army. We did it sans-drummer, so the two of us collectively played: guitar, bass, flute, loops, pedal synth, bongo, and voice. It was a work-out, but I’m liking this approach. Wonderful chill vibe, with thousands of folks camping under the trees. We’d play this event again in a heart-beat.
