This is the Instar video page, where you can chack out the rock video for Negative Man (ok, it's really just a live performance of the song, solo, but hey - you can either be snarky about it or go make your own, tough guy) as well as the two short animation films made by Pat Smith with music by Instar. These are pretty interesting - all hand drawn, high-effort, independent animation efforts from Pat Smith of avoid eye contact / blend films fame. And if we say so ourselves, the music and sound effects are pretty great. So, if you'd like to check out some fresh animation and hear what Karl / Instar sound like when they're not trying to rock your world (insert devil fingers here) then play the videos above. You can download these to your iPod as well. Both use a simple flash video player - so you can enjoy these new york animation goodies in crappy, non-DVD quality format.
So, why is this text way down here? It's for our friends the search engines to read. Basically, if you have a very simple page design, search engines can't figure out what it's about - so no relevance. By writing up a few hundred words about this page (including rock, videos, animation, new york, mtv, alternative, download, etc), it will be more 'visible' to Google and the others. So, on with the blabbing.
